Bio

Barbara is a Principal of CAP STRAT.

Her primary focus at CAP STRAT is managing client relationships, business development, and co-leading the CAP STRAT Women’s Forum.

Barbara is recognized as one of Chicago’s Most Influential Women by the Chicago Business Journal and was named Rotary International Woman of the Year for her broad personal and professional support of others, her community service and leadership. In addition to being Chair of Women Leaders in Philanthropy for the Oak Park River Forest Community Foundation, Barbara is a board member of the Women in Entrepreneurship Institute at DePaul and Housing Forward, among other philanthropic activities.

Barbara graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Economics from Boston College and studied at both the London School of Economics and the Faculte des Lettres in France. She has also received a Business Certificate in Finance from the Professional Program of New York University. Barbara is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) and has received the PLANSPONSOR Retirement Professional (PRP) designation from the Plan Sponsor Institute.

Barbara leads the CAP STRAT Women’s Forum, a community of empowered women working together to achieve personal, professional, and financial success.
